The Piece of Wood Project has now truly started! Bob and Barbara have taken bold new steps in the creative process. What we have now are TWO pieces of wood! The first is a lovely plaque-like slab with the addition of a knitted flower. The second is a long, VERY dense balance-beam-wide plank adorned with various holes and grooves. Pictures of the work as it now stands are below.
The holidays have derailed any possibility of Timberline family additions to the project at this point. BUT! Never fear -- the New Year is nigh and who knows what could happen during those cold January and February weekends? Perhaps some creativity will keep us warm!
